The Pons Danubii Fejlesztési Ügynökség Közhasznú Nonprofit Kft. was founded by the Pons Danubii EGTC (945 01 Komárno, Slovakia, Klapka tér 1). The EGTC is the 100% owner of the Ltd.
The EGTC: The Pons Danubii Limited Liability European Grouping of Territorial Cooperation (Pons Danubii EGTC) was established by three Slovak municipalities (Komárno, Kolárovo, Nesvady), and three Hungarian municipalities (Komárom, Tata, Kisbér). It was officially registered on December 15, 2010. Oroszlány (HU) joined the grouping on October 12, 2011. The municipality of Hurbanovo announced its intention to withdraw from the EGTC in December 2020. The number of municipalities in PD EGTC reduced to six. In 2021, Nesvady expressed its intention to join, and the membership request was unanimously approved by the assembly in December 2021. Thus, the members of the Pons Danubii EGTC currently are: Hungary: Komárom, Tata, Kisbér, Oroszlány; Slovakia: Komárno, Kolárovo, Nesvady.
The CEO of the Ltd. (also the director of the EGTC) is Zoltán Bara.
The Ltd. contributes to the following tasks:
The daily tasks of the Ltd.'s employees include participating in preparing and submitting project proposals, administration, preparing projects for the PD EGTC, participating in the management of winning projects, performing administrative activities of the Ltd., participating in the implementation of projects won by member municipalities, and representing Pons Danubii at various events and conferences.
